Remember how we’ve been talking tracking your time, actions and results lately and why it’s so important.
No? You can catch up right here.
Well, I want to tell you about a client of mine, Laura.
Laura was really down on herself.
She was discouraged and dissatisfied in the progress she was making to land new clients and hit her revenue numbers.
Nothing seemed to be working.
Everything she tried, every action she took, every corner she rounded, she smacked into brick wall after brick wall.
Or so she thought.
After a few months of going back and forth.
Questioning if it really was working.
Scared to peek at what she might find (because it would most certainly be so much worse than what she was imaging).
Laura finally went through all of her numbers.
Lo and behold, SHE HAD ARRIVED.
Remember, the numbers don’t lie. It’s just data.
When she looked at her numbers, Laura had actually built an ultra successful business. She was doing 2x the amount of revenue she was aiming for.
The thing is, it just hadn’t show up how she expected it to.
Laura was so married to her original vision, that when this awesome progress showed up in a different way, she made it mean that her business wasn’t successful.
But really what happened is that her business had evolved and morphed as she become a more experienced business owner.
The numbers didn’t lie in her case either.
That’s why tracking your time, actions and results is so key.
How might your tracking show you a delightful, unexpected surprise in your business?
